Recently, Tesla laid off the two top executives in charge of developing its supercharger system, the stations where people plug in their electric vehicles. Reuters reported that the company also planned to dismiss 500 people who work on superchargers.
In a tweet, Elon Musk said, “Tesla still plans to grow the Supercharger network, just at a slower pace for new locations and more focus on 100% uptime and expansion of existing locations.”
