The United Auto Workers union has played one of the biggest cards in its deck.
On Tuesday morning, the union sent 5,000 workers at General Motors’ plant in Arlington, Texas, out on strike. The move comes a day after the union directed 4,600 workers at Stellantis’ Sterling Heights, Mich., assembly plant to walk out.
